Viewings and office procedures

The government amended the lockdown legislation from 13th May 2020 so that moving home was once again allowed enabling our office to re-open.

We take the safety of our employees and clients very seriously and have put in place cleaning, handwashing and hygiene procedures in line with the guidance. We have taken all reasonable steps to maintain a 2m distance in the workplace and, where people cannot be 2m apart, we have done everything practical to manage transmission risk. Although our office is open for business, many staff will continue to work from home, so less people will be physically in our offices at any one time.

We will be conducting sales and lettings viewings and market appraisals where possible. Viewings will only take place with serious buyers who are genuinely interested in the property and, when possible, all initial viewings will be done virtually.

If your home is being viewed, open all windows and doors prior to the viewing taking place and if possible, leave the property for the duration of the viewing. Everyone involved must wear masks and gloves and wash their hands prior to the viewing. Handwashing facilities should be made available with separate paper towels if possible. We will look to restrict the number of people present at the viewing in order to follow social distancing guidelines.

Once the viewing has finished, the home occupier should ensure surfaces such as door handles are cleaned.

We are here to assist you with the sale, letting or management of your property or simply to help you any advice that you may need. Please do not hesitate to call us on +44 (0)20 7723 9988.
