Every new instruction is personally handled by the lettings manager, who will advise on the type of tenant to be sought, any work that might need to be done to attract that tenant, and an achievable rent. On instruction, our staff will prepare the necessary documentation to ensure all the legal requirements are met prior to the tenancy including arranging for a current gas safety certificate, the electrical inspection report and the energy performance certificate (EPC). We can also arrange for a professional inventory to be taken at the beginning and end of every tenancy, and for the property to be ‘deep cleaned’ if required.

Sandfords holds probably the largest stock of rental property in our area, and we have good reciprocal relationships with local sub-agents so the pool of potential tenants we can address is very wide. We are also in constant contact with a large number of relocation agents seeking top-quality accommodation for executives starting postings in London, mainly in the financial sector.

Sandfords is a member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents, so our staff are professionally qualified and we are fully bonded in case of loss. We are also members of the Property Ombudsman Redress Scheme and the NFOPP Client Money Protection Scheme.  Deposits are registered with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) to comply with legislative requirements.
